Join Reset with a Simple Opportunity to Give Back

It's the most wonderful time of the year — and at Reset, we decided to use our four Iowa locations as a way to give back to a local family in need. We're collecting Christmas gifts for two children — an 8-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl — who recently lost their mother to cancer. The boy carries his mother's photo with him in his backpack and enjoys sharing it with others because this helps him remember her. Their father works and is doing his best to provide for the family while being the primary caretaker, as well. The children both speak English and Spanish, however, the dad primarily speaks Spanish. Through this difficult time, we would love to help this wonderful family this season and have our members be a part of this blessing as well.

The Wish List for the 8-Year-Old Boy

  • Monopoly game
  • Lego Mind Craft
  • Socks, long and short
  • Tennis shoes, NIKE, red/black/blue size 1
  • Long Sleeve T-shirt size 6-7
  • Nerf Gun (automatic)
  • Alarm Clock (for boys)

The Dad's Needs:

  • Construction Boots, Black, Size 8.5

We are awaiting a Wish List for the 13-year-old girl and will get that added as soon as it's available. We also have a glass jar at the front desk of our Reset Downtown location for any cash or gift card donations as well. Please drop off any donations at our downtown Reset Clinic: 1905 Ingersoll Ave., Des Moines, IA. 50309

Thank you so much, Reset community! What a blessing it is to be apart of helping each other this wonderful season.
